inidio breviores, irregularit-er ramosi, purpurascentes, glabri. Wore* parvi, purpurei.
Serbia ovata, acutiuscula, Pefala ovato-lauceolata, 5-nervia, iiervis subsimplicibus.
Sfamtttei stylos sequantia. Drup^p priorum.
Under the No. 1001 of Wallu-h's Catalogue, specimens of S. pttrpiirM, S. parvi-
jtora, and S. campamlata are mixwl.

This is a very delicate small-flowered species, which is more nearly allied in the
sKape of the carpels to S. lanceolate than to the species already described.

Colebrooke describes the cotyledons as "Tolded one within the other, plaited once
longitudinally and thrice transversely."
